That's all we really are.

It's our thoughts and feelings that lead to action, motivation, reciprocation. 

Made someone happy? they will like you.

If you didn't, they won't. 

It's that simple. 

Well, I don't know about love. But I strongly believe it transcends that simple boundary.

I might have a small inkling what it comprises of now, though. It is a decision, a choice, to make that person happy no matter if they did or not.

And trust. Trust that they will do the same.

Occasional slip-ups aside, of course.
