You L
02:28How does the world view her? Your one and only?
Do you care how she is looked at, and what people think of her?
You should, if you cared about her.
How long she has been seen with no shoulder to lean upon. For how long?
How long does she actually have no shoulder to lean upon? Uncountable times.
It doesn't matter anymore. But It should have, but it wasn't.
Maybe all they see, is how hard she works. But they don't see the pain behind the scenes, they don't understand how she can be smiling and always, always alone.
They find her smile, her actions, so unreal.
There's something missing, they can tell. It's not right.
How many nights, has she been sleeping with the light on. Just because the darkness brings with it things you bring, much less took away.
How many times has she fallen asleep, with these tears flowing silently down her cheeks.
How many times, has she lay and listened to songs. And craved for what she lost.
How long has she waited, for an apology that will never come?
I can't tell you how she feels. When she is the one who believed, unwaveringly.
I can't tell you how many tears she hid from the world, her precious feelings overwhelming, but covertly discarded.
I can't tell you, if you have ever seen a genuine smile from her since then.
I can't tell you how it feels, to have built something that beautiful, disappear right before her eyes. To have her anchor wrenched right out underneath her.
But I can tell you, she has spent her days intoxicating herself, laughing, trying to cement that smile on her face.
Trying to remember who she was.
I can tell you, she has spent many nights with the lights on, music on loop, trying to slip into unconsciousness. Escaping from the dark, silence, and what it brings forth.
I can tell you, Drifting. Past the days, weeks. Hopelessness, grief, rushing in like the tides, never subsiding.
