How lucky am I, to not have to worry for my life when I am walking home?
How lucky am I, to have air conditioning, clean clothes to wear, water to drink and long hot baths?
How lucky am I, to have a choice if I wanted to go home early, or go partying till midnight?
How lucky am I, to be able to choose my life partner -for myself?
How lucky am I, for having the access to so many opportunities because of the paths I walked down, with loved ones to guide me when I didn’t know where I was going?
How lucky am I, to have choices, to eat what I want, to move however I want, to do whatever I wanted?
How lucky am I, to be born in this time and age, where there are free fireworks lighting up the sky, a clean city and endless new chances?
How lucky am I, to be able to afford to take a plane, to be able to see the night lights in any other city, and the lights in others’ eyes, from another continent?
