Sometimes, it is purely horrible upbringing, or sometimes, they have been cut too deep. they would never open it up ever again because the road to recovery, is going through healing and growing pains. It is accepting you were wrong. And it is not for the weak.
It is not for the weak to face their fears, because to do so, they have to face the world with their wounds wide open. Daring to believe that they will not be stabbed again right in the exact same spot.

maybe it is cowardice. maybe its is human nature to shun from pain. maybe there should be this mechanism built in everyone.
but in this complex society, it is different, yet so much the same. it is the attention ecomony versus the primal need for connection. it is the capitalism versus socialism. It is the predators versus the sheep. The ones inciting war versus the ones fighing for truth and peace, no matter how painful.

It can be faked, it can fool hundreds of people. But in your heart, you will know. And you will never be happy or contented, because you are hurting, and you will never be able to face any amount of guilt ever in your life, becuase you have buried so much of it, you will drown in it.
